INSTRUCTIONS TO SEND YOUR FOOD SAMPLES TO
MEXICO FOR TRADE MISSIONS OR TRADE SHOWS.
UNDER FOOD SHOW PLUS OR TRADE MISSION ACTIVITIES
FOR THE
FOOD EXPORT ASSOCIATION MID WEST AND NORTH EAST
OR OTHER ASSOCIATIONS
Under this service, you are entitled to send
up to 55 lbs of sample in one box. Any additional weight or
number of boxes will have an additional cost assessed by the
forwarder and notified to you for payment.

Please follow these instructions before shipping
your samples:
1.- Before sending any samples, it is very
important for you to let us know what are you going to send. To
do so, please fill out the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FORM and send it
back by email to us at
raul@marketingsolutionsfirm.com
2.- The PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FORM will be provided
to our Customs Broker in order each product is classified under
an Export Tariff. Once the products have been classified, our
office will send the form back to you with the TARIFF CODE and
with the list of papers required from you to execute the export.

3.- As a second stage to setup the shipping of
your samples and once you have received the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FORM indicating the U.S. paperwork required, you will need to
submit your samples along with the following requested papers:
a.- INVOICE: Products need to be
invoiced at 2/3 of real cost to the following company:

b.- PACKING LIST: (List quantity, weight
and type of goods being shipped.)

c.- NAFTA CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN:
The NAFTA Certificate of Origin is used by
Canada, Mexico, and the United States, including Puerto Rico, to
determine if goods imported into their countries receive reduced
or eliminated duty as specified by the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA).

e.- Click and Save the
HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
FORM. Fill it out and stick it in the box you are
shipping, for proper handling.

5.- SHIPPING RECOMMENDATIONS:
-Never mention or write the words "MUESTRAS OR
SAMPLES" on the invoice or box.
-Please package your items with lots of foam
or air bubble to avoid breakage.
-Boxes need to be reinforced for international
courier travel.
-Please write or sticker "FRAGILE" to the box.
-If sending perishables, make sure you pack
them with lots of “blue ice packages” to make them last for at
least 48 hrs. (Do not pack with dry ice).
